Starburst Computers provides website and email services for small businesses and charities.
Small businesses and charities recognise the importance of having a website but are often put off by the costs charged by larger website design companies.
Starburst Computers is pleased to offer more cost effective solutions which can range from one or two page websites to multiple pages with dynamic content.
Some people are put off by not knowing what is involved in maintaining and keeping their website up to date. We can help in advising realistically what is involved and either look after the website on your behalf or provide you with the training necessary for you to do this yourself.
Unless the site is very small you may want to have a CMS based system set up for you. A Content Management System (CMS) enables a website to be built which has a consistent design but allows you to make changes at will.
As a matter of course we deal with all the technical aspects of setting the website and also help you get your site listed on Google and the other major search engines so your site gets noticed.
No matter whether your website is large or small you can count on Starburst Computers to help you develop your Internet presence as your needs require.
On this page you will find some examples of websites we have produced for our clients. Do have a look at these so you can see the result of our work first hand.
If you would like to discuss your requirements in more detail please contact
us by choosing the Contact Us option, we will be more than happy to help.
Cobham Conservation and Heritage Trust needed a website to promote
the Trust and to make the local community more aware of their local
heritage and involved with local conservation.
The website has proved to be a
useful means of communication to their members and the public alike.
The Cobham Village website was an initiative by the Cobham Chamber of Commerce to help promote local businesses and retailers.
A key requirement was that the Chamber should be able to edit the content of the website without any specialist technical help.
The Envisage project was setup to produce a report recording the
views and aspirations of the local community and from that to develop an
innovative "action plan" for the Surrey villages of Cobham, Downside, Oxshott
and Stoke D'Abernon.
A website was an important means of reaching the community and to provide a
cost effective way of reporting on the project progress.
